Istiqlaliah Nurul Hidayati ; Work Hard & Stay Humble

(Headlinebogor.com) – Istiqlaliah Nurul Hidayati was born in Bandung, December 15th 1982. She married a man who is also a lecturer, Purnama Putra and has three children: Cherish NiswatulJannah (7), Kayyis Muhammad Ubaydillah (3), and Florence Mumtazah Firdausi (1).  She graduated from English Education Department of Indonesia University of Education in 2006 and earned her master degree on English Education in 2011 from the same university where she got her bachelor degree. She has a wide teaching experience in several schools in Bandung and finally decided to move to Bogor in 2012. She moved to Bogor to teach at the English Education Department, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences of Pakuan University. Since 2012 she had been appointed as the secretary of electronic journal Bureau at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Science before she got her new position as the secretary of Career and Development Center of Pakuan University whose name is Kantor Pusat Pengembangan Karier dan Alumni (KP2K).

She was also the runner up of 2016 Achieving Lecturer of Pakuan University. She has won several grants for her research from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemristekdikti). She also is an awardee of Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LembagaPengelola Dana Pendidikan) – Ministry of Finance (Kementrian Keuangan) and will continue her study to earn doctoral degree at Language Education Department of Jakarta State University. She has become a presenter at many conferences and a writer of several journals and articles. Even though she has to take care of her husband and three children, but the eagerness of improving the quality of people education always becomes her passion. Despite what she has achieved, she is a friendly and social person as the motto she has, “Work Hard, Stay Humble.” (fwz)
